  Biometric Authentication has been widely regarded as the most fool proof - or at least the hardest to forge or spoof. Among all the biometric techniques, fingerprint-based is the oldest method which has been successfully used in numerous applications. Everyone is known to have unique, immutable fingerprints.

A fingerprint is made of a series of ridges and furrows on the surface of the finger. The uniqueness of a fingerprint can be determined by the pattern of ridges and furrows as well as the minutiae points. Minutiae points are local ridge characteristics that occur at either a ridge bifurcation or a ridge ending.

HAND PUNCH IDENTIFICATION SYSTEMS

The HandPunch terminal captures a three-dimensional image of the hand each time the employee punches. The hand’s size and the shape are used to verify their identity with unparalleled accuracy.

No fingerprints or palm prints are utilized. Green and red lights notify the employee of the status of each punch. There’s no question anymore; employees have to be there to punch.

Instead of utilizing badges or passwords, which can be lost or forgotten, hand punch terminals verify an employee's identity based on the unique size and shape of their hand.
